Regular meetings were held during February and March to agree the constitution for the Supporters Trust. The Constitution was signed off by the Trust Board members on Monday 17th March and has been sent to Supporters Direct for ratification. In due course the constitution will be posted on the Trust web site.

Constitutional Working Party

• Agree Trust constitution, rules and regulations, Trust policy
• make up of the Trust Board i.e. roles to be performed, deal with legal set up requirements
• Liaise with football club, Supporters Direct, legal and accountancy advisors, local authorities
• Seek advice from fellow Trusts on key issues to address and avoid
• Issue share certificates
• Open bank account
• Design book-keeping requirements, expenditure rules and controls, audit requirements, prepare accounts
• Membership terms, create membership database, awareness of legal requirements re information
• Arrange elections to Trust Board and organise AGM
• Create a Business plan for presentation to club board of directors
• Co-ordinate all Trust working party activities
